Pork meat and bone meal

Pork meat and bone meal is a powdered, semi-defatted product resulting from the cooking of pork raw materials, consisting mainly of flesh parts, viscera and bones of swine. The raw material used is collected in establishments supervised by competent bodies. It is processed strictly within the rules of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA).

Antioxidants may be used in their composition to prevent the fats from being oxidized. Due to its nutritional characteristics, containing protein, calcium, phosphorus and fat, it is a product that has advantages in the formulation of feed for animals, allowing the production of feed with lower formulation cost. Pork meat and bone meal is marketed in bags, big bags and in bulk.

  • Costs: reduction in feed formulation cost;
  • Nutrients: product rich in essential amino acids.
  • Palatability: improves the palatability of the feed; rich in minerals (phosphorus and calcium);
  • Safety: it is free of allergenic or anti-nutritional factors.
