The Paraguayan capital hosted another international business round promoted by the Brazilian Renderers project – a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The Business Connection Paraguay was held at the Embassy of Brazil in Asunción on June 12, bringing together authorities, companies, and representatives of the animal nutrition sector to showcase the best of Brazil’s animal rendering industry.
With institutional support from the Embassy and participation from ABRA-affiliated Brazilian companies, the event provided a strategic environment to foster commercial ties with the Paraguayan market. The official opening featured remarks by Minister Emerson Kloss, Chargé d’Affaires at the Brazilian Embassy in Asunción, followed by institutional speeches and sector presentations. The support of the Embassy was essential to the success of the event.
The event featured the presence of key authorities and leaders from Paraguay’s agro-industrial sector, including Dr. José Carlos Martin Camperchioli, President of the National Animal Health and Quality Service (SENACSA); Alfred Fast, from the Federation of Production Cooperatives (FECOPROD); Fabio Fustagno, President of the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce; José Bareiro, President of the Paraguayan Chamber of Animal Nutrition Companies; Nestor Zarza, President of the Paraguayan Poultry Farmers Association; Hugo Schaffrath, President of the Paraguayan Swine Breeders Association; and Nevercendo Cordeiro, member of the Board of the Paraguayan Rural Association.
