With the aim of opening new business opportunities in Southeast Asia, the Brazilian Renderers project participated in ILDEX Indonesia 2025, one of the most important international fairs focused on the animal production value chain. The event was held from September 17 to 19 in Jakarta, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), and attracted thousands of visitors and buyers from Asia and other continents.

Booth KL26 served as the meeting point for the Brazilian animal rendering sector at the fair. In this space, Brazilian Renderers — a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — showcased the strength and versatility of the national industry, focusing on the delivery of high-value products, technology, traceability, and sustainability. The booth also served as an institutional support point for members of the Brazilian Renderers project and ABRA associates present at the event, strengthening the sector’s commercial engagement at the fair.

Participation in ILDEX Indonesia was strategic: the event had established itself as an international showcase for the livestock, dairy, meat, and aquaculture sectors, with a focus on Asian companies seeking efficient and sustainable solutions in animal nutrition and health. Brazilian Renderers brought to this setting a structure that highlighted the brand of its members and sponsors, promoting the Brazilian sector with visibility and professionalism to international buyers.

Organized by VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, the fair brought together decision-makers and specialists from across the region, providing an ideal environment for trade promotion, technological exchange, and the consolidation of international partnerships.

Brazilian Renderers

Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have partnered on the Brazilian Renderers project, aimed at promoting exports from the Animal Rendering sector — including meals, fats, blood derivatives, palatants, and hydrolyzed animal proteins. Through participation in trade fairs, workshops, and other special trade promotion initiatives, the projects highlight the attributes of the animal rendering industry and its products — such as quality, sanitary standards, and sustainable production — while also enhancing the international branding of these products and generating new business opportunities for Brazilian exporters. Information on how to participate in the sector projects is available at brazilianrenderers.com.
