The Brazilian presence gained momentum at ILDEX Indonesia 2025, held from September 17 to 19 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Jakarta. Brazilian Renderers—a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association  (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil)—showcased the animal rendering sector on one of the largest international stages for the animal protein chain, attracting decision-makers and buyers from across Asia and other continents.

The project’s booth was designed to highlight the strength and versatility of the national industry, emphasizing high-value products, cutting-edge technology, traceability, and sustainability. More than a commercial showcase, the space served as a meeting point and institutional support hub for ABRA members and Brazilian Renderers companies, strengthening contacts, facilitating business, and reinforcing the sector’s professional image.

The booth also received a visit from the Brazilian Agricultural Attaché in Indonesia, Bruno Breitenbach, who reinforced institutional support for the sector and closely followed interactions with potential buyers. This diplomatic presence strengthened dialogue with local authorities and helped open new avenues for engagement.

Participation in ILDEX Indonesia is considered strategic due to the region’s growing consumption of animal protein and its concentration of key production hubs in livestock, dairy, meat, and aquaculture. For Asian companies seeking sustainable solutions in animal nutrition and health, Brazil presented itself as a competitive and reliable partner. In this context, Brazilian Renderers highlighted the advantage of an industry that combines productive efficiency with environmental commitments, expanding prospects for international market entry.

Through its participation in ILDEX Indonesia, Brazilian Renderers reaffirms its mission to promote Brazilian animal rendering abroad and closely monitor trends in the global animal protein chain. The initiative contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of Brazilian companies and consolidates the sector as a global reference in innovation and sustainability.

Brazilian Renderers
Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have jointly promoted the Brazilian Renderers project, aimed at boosting exports from the Animal Rendering sector—including meals, fats, blood derivatives, palatants, and hydrolyzed proteins of animal origin. Through participation in trade fairs, workshops, and other special commercial promotion activities, the project highlights the strengths of the animal rendering industry and its products—such as quality, sanitary standards, and production sustainability—and enhances the international branding of these products, fostering new business opportunities for Brazilian exporters. Information on how to participate in sectoral projects is available at brazilianrenderers.com.
