Directly from Orlando, United States, Brazilian Renderers—a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil)—is participating this week in the Clean Fuels Conference, one of the leading global forums dedicated to renewable fuels. The event takes place from January 19 to 22 and connects key players across the biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) value chains.

Participation in the event marks the start of the year’s international agenda and places the Brazilian animal rendering sector at the center of discussions on energy transition and supply security. The conference brings together clean fuel producers, feedstock suppliers, distributors, fleet managers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and executives involved in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.

In a context of accelerated expansion of SAF and other low-emission fuels, animal rendering products are gaining relevance as strategic inputs for new energy pathways. Brazilian Renderers’ participation enables real-time monitoring of technical discussions, regulatory developments, and market trends that directly influence global demand for sustainable feedstocks.

Throughout the week, the Clean Fuels Conference features technical panels, exhibitions, and strategic meetings that help map opportunities and risks for the sector, providing members with qualified insights into a market undergoing transformation and becoming increasingly competitive.

About Brazilian Renderers
Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have jointly promoted the Brazilian Renderers project, with the aim of fostering exports from the animal recycling sector—animal meals, fats, hemoderivatives, palatability enhancers, and hydrolyzed animal proteins. Through participation in trade fairs, the organization of workshops, and other special trade promotion initiatives, the project highlights key attributes of the animal recycling industry and its products—such as quality, sanitary status, and production sustainability—and strengthens the international branding of these products, fostering new business opportunities for Brazilian exporters. Information on how to join the sectoral projects is available at brazilianrenderers.com.
