Brazilian Renderers, a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), participated in Aquaculture Vietnam 2026, the leading event of the Vietnamese aquaculture industry, held from March 18 to 20. The exhibition took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside VietShrimp Asia 2026, gathering more than 200 exhibitors and approximately four thousand professional visitors from across the aquaculture value chain.

Vietnam is one of the priority markets in the sector’s international strategy. The country projects fishery exports exceeding USD 10 billion and maintains an official policy for sustained expansion of aquaculture production through 2030, with a focus on technology and efficiency. This scenario increases the demand for high-performance ingredients with proven traceability, a position in which Brazilian animal rendering meals and fats have been consolidating through successive missions and business rounds in the country.

At booth B26, Brazilian Renderers brought together participating companies, sponsors, and institutional partners, offering a dedicated space for meetings and business engagements throughout the three-day event. A highlight was the visit of Mirela Eidt, Agricultural Attaché of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) in Vietnam, who visited the project’s booth.

Participation in Aquaculture Vietnam 2026 adds to a consistent track record in the country: presence in multiple editions of ILDEX Vietnam, business rounds with local importers, and, in December 2025, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Brazil Vietnam Chamber to expand trade relations in the segment. The exhibition represented another step in a long-term agenda in the Vietnamese market.

Brazilian Renderers

Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have partnered on the Brazilian Renderers project with the goal of promoting exports from the animal recycling sector—animal-origin meals and fats, blood products, palatants, and hydrolyzed proteins. Through participation in trade shows, the organization of workshops, and other special trade promotion initiatives, the project highlights key attributes of the animal recycling industry and its products—such as quality, sanitary status, and sustainable production—while strengthening the international brands of these products and fostering new business opportunities for Brazilian exporters.
