Brazilian Renderers — a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — continues to expand international opportunities. On April 23, the city of San José, Costa Rica, will host Business Connection Costa Rica, a strategic event designed to connect Brazilian companies from the animal rendering sector with potential Costa Rican buyers.
The event will take place at the Crowne Plaza San José La Sabana and will feature the presence of Antonio Alves Júnior, Brazil’s ambassador to Costa Rica. ABRA will also participate in the meeting, reaffirming its commitment to expanding the sector’s exports. The program will begin with a breakfast hosted by REAM, providing a welcoming atmosphere for networking.
Next, guests will enjoy an immersion into Brazil’s animal rendering sector, starting with an institutional video introducing Brazilian Renderers and the productive strength of the participating industries. Brazil stands out for its supply capacity and excellence in quality — key topics that will be addressed during the presentations.
The Brazilian companies participating in the event will have the opportunity to showcase their strengths directly to potential Costa Rican buyers, creating a dynamic space for information exchange and business opportunity identification.
The highlight of the event will be the schedule of bilateral meetings, where negotiations begin to take shape. In face-to-face meetings, business representatives from both countries will be able to discuss demands, outline strategies, and take the first steps toward future commercial partnerships.
With this event, Brazilian Renderers reaffirms its commitment to connecting strategic markets and strengthening the global presence of Brazil’s animal rendering industry.

Through participation in fairs, workshops and other special actions of commercial promotion, the projects value attributes of the animal rendering industry and its products – such as quality, health status and sustainability of production – and value the international brands of products, fostering new business for Brazilian exporters.
