China: this was the second destination for Brazilian Renderers, a partnership between the Brazilian Renderers Association (ABRA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), on the Asia 2024 Mission itinerary.

In addition to the strategic meetings in Beijing, the project also took part in the China Animal Husbandry Expo (CAHE) in Nanchang, from May 18 to 20. Ideal for exchanging information and forging business partnerships, the fair brought together more than 200,000 representatives of agro-industries and rural producers from all over the country.

With the market open to China, specifically for poultry and pork meal, CAHE 2024 served as an impetus to promote the industries and products of the animal rendering sector. It was in this promising environment that the Project’s stand stood out as a reference point for Brazilian rendering, attracting the attention of visitors and promoting the brand of sponsors and associates to a global audience.

The Brazilian Renderers had the support of the Brazilian Embassy in Beijing duringtheir visit to the country and the Agricultural Attachés of the Brazilian Ministry ofAgriculture and Livestock.

China is one of the five largest importers of animal meal in the world and represents a significant and promising market for Brazilian products.

Asia Mission

Brazilian Renderers’ participation in CAHE 2024 was part of the project’s Asia Mission program, the main aim of which is to establish commercial connections, identify business opportunities and promote the sector’s growth and development in Asian markets.

Brazilian Renderers

Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have promoted the Brazilian Renderers project with the objective of promoting exports from the Animal Rendering sector – meal, fat, blood products and palatabiliy ehancers, and hydrolyzed protein of animal origin. Through participation in fairs, workshops and other special actions of commercial promotion, the projects value attributes of the animal rendering industry and its products – such as quality, health status and sustainability of production – and value the international brands of products, fostering new business for Brazilian exporters.
