GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE WORLD ORGANISATION FOR ANIMAL HEALTH – OMSA (FORMER OIE)

The General Assembly of OMSA (former OIE) aims to discuss and analyze proposals for regulations and recommendations, generated by the Technical and Specialized Commissions, to be applied by member countries to prevent, combat and eradicate diseases that can also be transmissible to humans. The sanitary requirements deliberated by the General Assembly of OMSA are used by the member countries in the construction of the international sanitary certificates which the Animal Rendering sector uses to export its products.

EFPRA 2023 CONGRESS

III Latin American Workshop on Animal Nutrition Regulatory Affairs (FeedLatina)

The event aims to advance the promotion, development and maintenance of regulatory frameworks, ensuring the essential harmonization for free trade interactions between Feedlatina member countries and with the rest of the world. REAM – 1st RENDERING CONVENTION OF THE AMERICAS

The three-day program of the 1st Rendering Convention of the Americas (REAM) brings together lectures, networking and business roundtables with decision makers in the sector, in Cartagena de Indias. The international event will bring perspectives on the global market for meals and fats of animal origin, regulations, through the technological transformation of the sector. Realization of the Brazilian Renderers project, promoted by ABRA and ApexBrasil, and by Agriglobal Market.

Brazilian Renderers
Since 2012, ABRA and ApexBrasil have promoted the Brazilian Renderers project with the objective of promoting exports from the Animal Rendering sector – meal, fat, blood products and palatabiliy ehancers, and hydrolyzed protein of animal origin. Through participation in fairs, workshops and other special actions of commercial promotion, the projects value attributes of the animal rendering industry and its products – such as quality, health status and sustainability of production – and value the international brands of products, fostering new business for Brazilian exporters.
